Match Play
This competition consists of two-person teams, grouped into flights. There is a maximum 8-stroke difference in handicaps between the two player partners. To be eligible to play, you must have at least five (5) league play days (Tuesdays) during the 12 months preceding the Tournament.
Two 2-person teams play each other using the best net score between partners on each hole. Scorecards are marked + (won the hole), - (lost the hole), or 0 (tied the hole). Whichever team wins the 1st hole is one up, opponents are one down, etc. Play continues until one team has won the most holes.
